Our initial operations were in machine shops and special machinery design and build ... our industrial roots. During this early period of growth we caught the attention of a number of our associates in the industry, and we ended up working closely with them to refine and optimize growth within their companies. And so, it began.

| |
Our growing work within the industrial sector covered a variety of projects for growth from marketing through managing diversification.
In each of those sectors we also took care of a growing need to initiate and managed complete restructures of companies that had encountered financial difficulties for various yet typical reasons.

Our work on the operations side became more recognized, and interest in working with us grew. During the early 1990's and onward we became involved with more and more diverse companies.
Our operations at that time saw us working in excavating and land development, advertising, a film studio build, data center construction, and motorized equipment among other things. The stage was set for further growth, but not along a linear path.
| |
| |
From there it just kept going, involving us in countless other types of business across a spread of industries and a growing geographical landscape.
Meanwhile, our own interests grew in the same way.

The complexity of our own operations grew alongside the client projects. One example being In 2005 when we opened our yacht brokerage division.
This new company was a perfect example of the value of the structure we had built, enabling us to create the entire yacht brokerage profile and platform within a two week period and immediately go active.
| |
The brokerage has grown through the years with activity and sales now international, covering a wide variety of boats and yachts.
In addition to brokerage, the activity in the yachting sector has seen us now involved in yacht build, electric boats, marina projects, and marketing for several yacht brands.

Our publishing division began as a part of our marketing operations, to create outlets for our operations and those of our clients and associates. Right away this reduced and in some cases eliminated the advertising for a number or projects costs in other industry magazines.
| |
| |
In the launch of this operation we knew that the traditional publishing company model could be improved upon, greatly, and this we did.
What started as a mostly self-serving operation has grown, and continues to do so. In addition to our growing range of publicationw we design and produce magazines for clients directly.

Some of our companies were not planned, I'll admit it. One example of this was actually quite amusing, and a perfect example of things growing from ideas.
Every time I saw a Jaguar V12 engine I thought "that would make a great coffee table" and expressed that thought to others. The local Jaguar dealership called my bluff and gave me an old engine. I took it apart, rebuilt the shell with new and refurbished parts, and it proudly sat in my home.
Some people found out about it, and began ordering them. They were featured in magazines. More orders. So many orders that it turned into a company making coffee tables, side tables and conference tables out of classic automobile engines. That, I did not see coming.
